Today we pay homage to 1 of our nation’s greatest symbols. The
flag of the United States of America, itself. Where the red and white stripes
represent the 13 colonies that began our country’s history and the 50 stars denote
each of the individual states in our current union.
On a side note, I support any country around the world
having a day to commemorate its own flag, and taking pride in its own history.
I’m looking at you other 195 to 249 countries around the world,
depending on your definition of a country, to show your pride.
